Global Village is back. Season 31 opens on Wednesday, 14 October 2026, with gates opening at 6PM, and the park has started dropping hints about what happens on night one. What happens on Global Village opening night?
Global Village is keeping most of the opening night programme under wraps, calling it “a series of exciting surprises”. Two things are confirmed:
- The confetti shower at the Gate of the World. It’s the park’s signature opening moment, so get to the main gate early if you want to be under it.
- The Parade of the World, with performers representing cultures from around the globe.
The gates open at 6PM on Wednesday 14 October. Opening night is one of the busiest of the season, so plan for traffic on Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road and arrive early.
What are Global Village’s opening hours for Season 31?
After opening night, Global Village is open:
- Sunday to Wednesday: 4PM to midnight
- Thursday, Friday, Saturday and public holidays: 4PM to 1AM
What’s new and what’s inside this season?
Season 31 has 29 pavilions representing more than 90 cultures, over 3,500 shopping outlets and more than 250 dining options. The park says 400 performers will put on 40,000 shows across the season, and Carnaval has more than 200 rides and games.
What are the Mega VIP Packs and how much do they cost?
The Mega Gold and Mega Silver VIP Packs combine Global Village’s VIP privileges with bundled passes or tickets for Dubai Parks and Resorts. You choose either 3-month Multi-Park Seasonal Passes or 1-Day 2-Park Tickets.

How much are Global Village tickets for Season 31?
Global Village hasn’t published Season 31 general entry prices on its website yet. For reference, Season 30 tickets were AED 25 Sunday to Thursday and AED 30 on Fridays, Saturdays and public holidays. Check globalvillage.ae or the Global Village app for the latest prices.
