Ras Al Khaimah is set to welcome 2026 in spectacular fashion with a New Year’s Eve celebration that promises scale, innovation, and unforgettable visuals. From cutting-edge drone choreography to one of the longest fireworks displays ever attempted, the emirate is once again raising the bar for year-end celebrations in the UAE.

A Night Where Fireworks Meet Technology

The highlight of the night will be a 15-minute fireworks and drone spectacle stretching across nearly six kilometres of coastline. More than 2,300 drones — some equipped with lasers and pyrotechnics — will take to the skies above Marjan Island and Al Hamra, creating intricate formations and immersive light displays.

The show’s theme revolves around renewal, strength, and progress, blending traditional fireworks with next-generation visuals to deliver a truly cinematic countdown experience.

Two Opportunities to Catch the Show

To make sure everyone can be part of the celebration, Ras Al Khaimah has scheduled two separate fireworks displays:

Evening Display – 8:00 PM
📍 Corniche Al Qawasim
Ideal for families and early celebrations, this show offers festive energy without the late-night wait.

Midnight Main Event – 12:00 AM
📍 Marjan Island & Al Hamra Bay
The headline show features large-scale fireworks, synchronized drones, and dramatic lighting to ring in the new year.

A Free New Year’s Eve Festival From Afternoon Onwards

The celebrations begin well before sunset with a free New Year’s Eve festival starting at 2:00 PM in Al Hamra. Visitors can enjoy food trucks, carnival games, and live performances throughout the afternoon and evening.

This year’s entertainment lineup includes:
• DJ BobMix, spinning a mix of international and Arabic tracks
• Shweta Subram, the Indo-Canadian Bollywood singer
• DJ Bia, delivering a high-energy global set

Multiple parking zones will be available, including areas designated for caravans and campers. Visitors are encouraged to register their vehicles in advance via raknye.com to receive parking and access details.

Watching From Home? You’re Covered

Those unable to attend in person can still experience the event live. The full New Year’s Eve spectacle will be streamed on raknye.com as well as on Visit Ras Al Khaimah’s official YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok channels.

A Proven Global NYE Powerhouse

With 13 Guinness World Records achieved over the past seven years, Ras Al Khaimah has established itself as one of the world’s leading destinations for New Year’s Eve celebrations. This year’s event is expected to continue that legacy — and possibly set new records along the way.

As the countdown to 2026 begins, Ras Al Khaimah once again proves that when it comes to New Year’s Eve, bigger really is better.
